The deceased was twenty-seven years of age and a daughter of Mrs. Maria Schwalm. Dissolution was due to heart disease. The deceased was well known on the south side. Daily Northwestern January 28, 1895 p.1 Funeral of Mrs. Lang The funeral of Mrs. Ernest Lang was held from the family residence, 35 Oregon street, Sunday afternoon. The services, which were impressive, were conducted by Rev. E. H. Smith. The singing was rendered by Miss Bessie Daggett and Mrs. Luther Davies. The pall bearers were William Glatz, Charles Bauman, A. Mehlmann, Louis Ganzer, H. Lindner, M. Kitz. There was a profusion of flowers, consisting of a pillow, from the husband of the deceased; harp, August Horn; broken wheel and gates ajar, mother and sister of the deceased; cross, L. Thenee; pillow, clerks of S. Heymann; anchor, Mr. and Mrs. Mehlmann; cross, Mr. and Mrs. G. Streich; anchor, Mr. and Mrs. Below and Mr. and Mrs. Blesk; and boquets from Mr. and Mrs. Charles Baumann, Mr. and Mrs. John Streich, Mrs. Zellmar and George Zellmer, Mrs. L. Schwalm, Mrs. Richards, Mrs. Witzel, Mrs. Sterling, Mr. Lindner, F. Froehlich, Mr. Nelson. Mrs. Lang was born January 28, 1868, and was the daughter of Mrs. Maria Schwalm. On February 7, 1886, she was married to Ernst Lang who survives her. For the past two years she had not been in the best of health, but nevertheless, her death was entirely unexpected, as she has been confined to her bed only two days. Heart trouble was the cause of her death.
