Winneconne Local December 27, 1917 p. 1

Peter Lasley, died December 13, 1917, after the usual lingering illness of
diabetes.  Deceased was born at Mackinac Island, Mich., Feb. 22, 1850.  He
was united in marriage to Ellen Quigley, who died some years ago.  During
their life they resided on farm, which place was known as the Lasley Point,
a very popular place.  The following children are left to mourn his loss:
Henry Lasley, who resides on the Lasley Point farm; Mrs. Josie Clark and
Peter of Winneconne; Allie, of Oshkosh; Mrs. Nellie Weidermann, Miss Louise
and John Lasley, of Milwaukee, and one brother, Henry Lasley, of Mackinac
Island, Mich.

The funeral services were conducted at St. Mary's church, Winneconne, by
Rev. W.J. Luby, interment taking place at the Poygan cemetery, where the
sorrowing friends and relatives paid their last respects to their own and
true companion.
