Obituary: Winnebago County, Wisconsin: Loran LEAMAN ************************************************************************ Submitted by Kathy Grace, April 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Daily Northwestern July 7, 1926 Loran Leaman Dead Oshkosh Man Passes Away at His Home in This City After Illness of Long Duration Loran Leaman passed away at his home at 313 Lemmer street Wednesday morning at 12:15 o'clock. The deceased, the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Leaman, was born July 24, 1869, at Omro. He was married to Miss Julia Utke of Oshkosh. The couple lived in Winneconne for twenty years and then moved to Oshkosh, where Mr. Leaman was employed by E.M. Paine the last seven years. Deceased is survived by his wife, one daughter, Norina, and three sons, Harvey, Leland and Arnold, all of Oshkosh. Two sisters, Mrs. George Clark, Oshkosh and Mrs. Neetha White, Winneconne, also survive. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Algoma Methodist church, Rev. Allen Adams officiating, with interment in Omro cemetery. Mrs. J.W. Kircher and Miss Clara Schmidt will sing. Remains may be reviewed at the home between 6 and 9 o'clock Friday evening.
