Obituary: Winnebago County, Wisconsin: Elizabeth Le Fevre ************************************************************************ Submitted by Kathy Grace, February 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Winneconne Local December 20, 1917 p.5 Passed Away Quietly Elizabeth Mary Heuer was born in the city of Buffalo, N.Y. on October 3rd, 1844. When eight years of age she came to this state with her parents locating on a farm in Winnebago county near the village of Eureka. she was married to Geo. H. Le Fevre in 1866, living in Winneconne until 1892 when they moved to Shiocton, where they lived until last March when Mr. Le Fevre's health became so feeble that they came to live with their daughter, Mrs. W.S. Oakes in this city, where Mr. Le Fevre died Aug. 11th. Mrs. Le Fevre took entire care of her husband until his death after which she gave up to the weakness of which her family knew nothing and which caused her death, November 22nd. Two daughters: Mrs. W.S. Oakes of this city and Mrs. M.B. Hayden with three grandchildren survive. The funeral was held at the home of Mrs. Oakes on Sunday at 1 p.m. conducted by Rev. Perry, assisted by the W.R.C. The pall bearers were members of the G.A.R. Relatives attending from out of town were John Le Fevre, Sr., and John Le Fevre, Jr., of Waukau, Mrs. W.W. Le Fevre and son Arden of Tustin, Mr. and Mrs. B. Hayden, Paul Le Fevre, R. Oakes and wife of Oshkosh and Chas. Oakes and family of Shiocton -- New London Press
