Lett Former Oshkosh Man Succumbs to La Grippe at Fairchild, Wis. William H. Lett, a former resident of Oshkosh, died at his home in Fairchild, Wis., Wednesday afternoon. A few days before his death he was taken ill with la grippe, which proved fatal. The deceased was 58 years old and leaves a wife and two children. Previous to twenty-five years ago he was engaged in lumbering in Oshkosh and vicinity, but afterwards removed to Fairchild, where he has resided ever since. He was prominently connected with the Grand Army, and organized the Nathan Paine post at Fairchild. The remains will arrive in the city tonight and will be taken to the residence of his brother, Thomas Lett, from where the funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The services will be in charge of the Masons.
