She came to Wisconsin with her parents in 1860 and settled in the town of Vinland. She was married April 26, 1863 to Benjamin E. Libby, who passed away in March 1915. Since coming to Wisconsin she has been a resident of Winnebago County continuously except fifteen years spent at Weyauwega. She passed away at her home in the village of Winneconne, Tuesday morning January 165, after an illness of seven weeks. She is survived by one son, E.W. Libby of the town of Winneconne, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Joseph Miracle of Oshkosh, Wis., and two sisters, Mrs. W.B. Whitacre, of Jeffersonville, Ill., and Mrs. Joseph Birmingham of Hortonville, Wis. The funeral was held from the Presbyterian church at Winneconne, Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. L.J. Albert officiating. The Order of the Eastern Star had an active part in the services. The pallbearers were: Bert Rogers, Julius Haese, Fred Lightfoot, M. Ashby, Chris Bersch and Adolph Grimm. Among those attending the funeral were Mrs. James Miracle of Oshkosh, O.U. Miracle of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Joseph Birmingham of Hortonville. Interment was at the Bell cemetery.
