Appleton Post-Crescent (WI),  Friday, July 22, 1932
Neenah--Martin Manion, 75, former Neenah resident, died last Monday at his 
home in Kalamazoo, Mich., according to information received by Robert, Martin 
and Tony Handler, brothers-in-law here.  The funeral was held Thursday morning 
at Kalamazoo.  Survivors are a son, Thomas Manion, and a daughter, Mrs. David 
Pratt, both of Kalamazoo.

Vitals for Martin: b.March 29, 1858 Ireland; m.February 28, 1883 Neenah, 
Winnebago, WI to Mary A. HANDLER (1860-1929)(a Neenah, WI native); d.July 18, 
1932 Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo, MI; bu.July 21, 1932 Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 
Kalamazoo, MI.  Immigrated from Ireland with parents, Michael MANNION and 
Catherine KELLY, and brother John MANNION in 1864/5. Sister, Kate 
MANNION/MANION HARRISON was born in Tennessee.  John and Martin moved to 
Neenah, Winnebago, WI in the late 1800's.  Martin and Mary's children (all 
born in Neenah, WI):  George, Thomas A. (spelled surname MANION); Martin A., 
Jr.; Katherine; Mabel Mary (married David W. PRATT); and Irene J. (Sister M. 
Norberta).  The family moved from Neenah, WI to Kalamazoo, MI on/after 1905.
