Mrs. Matschi Dies

Twelfth Street Resident Passes Away After Illness of Eight Months- Funeral
Saturday

Mrs. Mary Matschi, wife of Joseph Matschi, 1118 Twelfth street, died at her
home at 6:20 o'clock Tuesday evening after an illness of about eight
months.

Mrs. Matschi was born in Austria, Aug. 22, 1867, and came to Oshkosh in
July, 1893.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Sister M. Nathalia of the
Order of Notre Dame, Chicago, Mrs. John Kubasta and Miss Jennie Matschi of
this city; four sons, John, Wenzel and Frank, all of Oshkosh, and Joseph A.
Matschi of Minnesota.  She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Johanna
Spanbauer; one brother, John Lavitch of Austria, and three granddaughters.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at St.
Vincent's church.  Rev. Aloys Bastian will officiate.  Interment will be at
Riverside cemetery.
