Mrs. Wm. Meltz of the town of Clayton, who has been at the hospital for
several weeks, died Thursday afternoon.  Mrs. Meltz was suffering from an
attack of appendicitis and was taken to the hospital for an operation in
the hope that she might recover.  Efforts to save her life were unavailing.
Mrs. Meltz was nineteen years and elevens months of age and had been
married only a few months.  The deceased is survived by her husband, Wm.
Meltz, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. August Haase of Wet Menasha; six
brothers, Allen, Henry and Charles of Neenah; Albert and Archie of
Appleton, and Roy of Wittenberg; and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Schultz and
Mrs. John Schmidt of Appleton.  The funeral was held from the home of
Charles Haase, Sherry street, Sunday.
