Miller, Carpenter Contractor Here for Many Years, Passes Away at Chicago Anthon F. Miller, 168 Franklin avenue, a carpenter contractor in this city for many years, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Lake Park sanatorium in Chicago, where he had been for the last two weeks. Death was due to general debilities incident to old age. Mr. Miller was born in Denmark in 1852, coming to America when a young man of 21 and settling in Oshkosh. On Dec. 31, 1880, he was united in marriage to Miss Laura C. Christensen, of this city. Mr. Miller was engaged as a carpenter contractor in Oshkosh for many years. Surviving are his wife and four children: Mrs. Paul Wickert, of Racine, Kirt and Earl Miller, of Chicago, and Carl Miller, of Toledo. One grandchild, Peggy Miller, of Toledo, and a sister, Mrs. John Peterson, of Chicago, also survive. The arrangements for the funeral will be announced later.
