When he returned home in the evening, his wife was dead. He found her lying on the bed, dressed as when he left the house, but the spark of life had gone out. Her spirt had passed some time before his arrival, although it is not known just when she died. Heart disease is attributed as the cause. The many friends of the deceased will be shocked at her unexpected death. Besides a husband, three small children survive. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon with services at the residence at two o'clock. Rev. E. H. Smith will officiate.
