Rev. Father O'Daniels officiated. Interment was in the Poygan cemetery. The pallbearers were the young friends of the deceased. They were Vincent Youngwirth, Sam Pierce, Edward Gavin, Michael Gavin, James Youngwirth, and Gordon Lee. The flower girls were Hazel Clasen, Victoria Wagen, Eileen Coughlin, Leona Crawley, Veronica Mongan, and Edna Karough. Joseph was 16 years old. He was sick less than a week. Death was caused by a complication of influenza and pneumonia. The survivors are his parents; and four sisters and two brothers, all of whom are younger. Among those from out-of-town who attneded the services were: Dan O'Connell, of Chicago; Mrs. Catherine Simmons and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Darling, of Beloit; David Broderick and sons, Morris and Francis, of Montello; M. O'Connell, Mrs. and Mrs. P. Dowdican, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Garbrecht, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Youngwirth, Miss Margaret O'Rourke, Mr. and Mrs. P. Carlson, and Mr and Mrs. John Carroll, all of Oshkosh
