Oshkosh Northwestern
As a child Mr. Parish lived opposite from Abraham Lincoln in Springfield, 
Illinois. When Lincoln was elected president he signed a picture of himself 
and give it to Edward who was 13 years old and it was a prized possesion of 
his.He often played with Lincoln's son Robert Todd.He was married to Lucy 
Radford and she survives him along with a daughter Mrs. William Reuther. 
Private services were held st his home and burial was in Riverside cemetery.
