Prahl Passes Away At Hospital Menasha Woman is Victim of Lingering Illness-- Leaves Husband, One Son and One Daughter-- Funeral Will Be Held Sunday Menasha-- Mrs. Gustave Prahl, 233 Prospect street, passed away Thursday afternoon at St. Elizabeth's hospital at Appleton. Death resulted from a complication of diseases and followed an illness of several months. Mrs. Prahl was born in Germany, Jan. 20, 1873, and when 9 years of age came with her parents to Calumet county, in the neighborhood of Chilton. She was married to Gustav Prahl Nov. 5, 1895, and moved to Menasha twenty-nine years ago. Surviving are her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Emma Westphal, of Wausau; one son, Walter, of Menasha; one granddaughter, four brothers, Charles Syring, of Menasha; Herman and Theodore Syring, of Superior, and Albert Syring, of West Menasha; and one sister, Mrs. Mathilda Wentorf, of Wausau. Funeral services will be hold Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the residence and at 2 o'clock at Trinity Lutheran church. Rev. J.G. Pohley officiating. Interment will be made at Oak Hill cemetery.
