Death at Winneconne

J.D. Rush, a Prominent Resident and Former Member of the Legislature

Winneconne, Wis.- The death of J. D. Rush, an old and respected resident of
Winneconne, occurred last evening.  It was not unexpected as he had been a
sufferer from Bright's disease for a number of months.  Mr. Rush came here
in 1859.  He taught school, acted as president of the school board, and
during the season of 1864, was a member of the legislature.  During his
later years he has practiced law.  He is survived by a widow.  The funeral
arrangements have not yet been made.
