Death of Mrs. Sanford Mrs. Joseph A. Sanford died at six o'clock this morning from a complication of liver and kidney complaint. Mrs. Sanford at death was sixty-three years of age and leaves a husband and two children. Arthur who is acting agent of the Chicago & Northwestern railway at Florence and Miss Addie residing at home. Deceased was a spiritualist and clairvoyant, having practiced for many years. Her illness has been of long duration having lasted fully three months. Death, however, was expected by the sufferer and was foretold by her many weeks ago. The maid name of Mrs. Sanford was Adeline Ferris. In 1849, she was united in marriage to Mr. Sanford, and in 1851 the newly wedded couple removed to Menasha, settling on the Main land. For forty years they have occupied the cozy brick dwelling, located on the island, where their lives have been happy ones. The funeral of the deceased will be held on Thursday afternoon, at two o'clock. she was a lady of rare christian excellence and fortitude.
