Schneider Passes Away After Illness of Six Months- Funeral to be Monday Ben B. Schneider died at his home 187 East Irving street at 11 o'clock Wednesday night after an illness of six months. He was 55 years of age. Mr. Schneider had been a traveling salesman for thirty years. On Sept. 1, 1926 he started in business for himself under the name of the Northwestern Distributing company. He was a member of the United Commercial Travelers, the Ancient Mystic Order of Bagmen, Travelers' Health Association, Catholic Order of Foresters, St. Joseph's society, Holy Name society and a life long member of the St. Mary's church. He is survived by his wife, five daughters, Mrs. Dr. George W. Nelson of Minneapolis, Mrs. M.E. Anderson of Watertown, Mrs. E.G. Kitz, Miss Marie and Miss Catherine Schneider all of this city and two sons, Benjamin Schneider Jr., of Neenah and Ralph Schneider also of this city. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Anna Steier of Chicago, and four grandchildren, Althea and Audrey Nelson of Minneapolis, Yvonne Schneider of Neenah and George Edward Kitz of this city. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at the St. Mary's church, Rev. William A. Reul will officiate. Interment will be at Riverside cemetery.
