Scott died this morning at quarter before two o'clock at the home of his father, George F. Scott, 47 Waugoo street. About two months ago he was taken ill with typhoid fever, but his condition was not considered serious until the last two weeks. During that time, however, he sank rapidly until death came this morning. Mr. Scott was a gold and silver plater and worked steadily at his trade in this city until he was taken sick. He has lived in Oshkosh since he was four years old, coming her from Calais, Maine. His age was twenty-six. His parents are both living and he leaves a brother, John and a sister, Mrs. C.H. Stoller, both living in this city. The funeral will be help [sic] from the home on Waugoo street Thursday afternoon. John Scott of Eau Claire, and Charles Scott of Marinette, cousins of the decased [sic] are expected to be here to attend. Daily Northwestern, August 29, 1890 Funeral of Frank Scott The funeral of Frank Scott, which took place yesterday afternoon from the family home on Waugoo street, was largely attended. The Rev. E.H. Smith of the First Congregational church conducted the services, and the singing was rendered by a choir consisting of Miss Jennie Daggett, Mrs. R.F. Kellogg, Heman Howard Powers and William Herbert Dale. The pall bearers were the Messrs. Gary, Wheeler, Ward and Cornish. Mr. and Mrs. Scott have the sympathy of many friends in their affliction.
