A week ago Monday Leo was in his classes in the high school. The nest day he was taken ill and from that time until his death he has battled against the disease to which he finally succumbed. The deceased was a young man of exemplary habits and deservedly popular with schoolmates and teachers. Though partially unconscious since last Friday, he roused early last evening and recognized some of his friends. At midnight he commenced to grow rapidly worse and death occurred this morning. The deceased was a son of C.A. Sorenson, boat builder, of Menasha. He was born in Winneconne, Aug. 3, 1883. He had resided in Menasha eight years and at the time of his death was a senior in the high school, having undertaken to complete the four-year course in three years. He was a member of the Universalist Baptist church and also of the Christian Endeavor society of the Congregational church. A father and stepmother are the only surviving relatives. The funeral will probably be held Friday, burial occurring at Winneconne where the remains will be laid beside those of his mother.
