Pickett Resident Dies

Michael Splitgerber Passes Away Saturday Evening at Hospital Following
Operation

Michael Splitgerber, of Pickett died at 8:20 o'clock Saturday evening
following an operation performed at Mercy hospital Friday.  Mr. Splitgerber
is survived by his wife and one daughter.  He is also survived by two
brothers, John Splitgerber, of Ripon, and Fred Splitgerber, of Rush Lake;
and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Lehr, of Redgranite, and Mrs. Joseph Shermer, of
Berlin.

Mr. Splitgerber was operated upon within ten days of the time both his
brothers were operated upon for much the same ailments.  One of his
brothers is confined to a hospital in Fond du Lac and the other is at Mercy
hospital here.

The funeral cortege will leave the Scholz company funeral parlors Wednesday
morning at 10 o'clock and will motor to the home at Pickett where a short
prayer service will be held at 1:30 o'clock.  The funeral will be held at
the Pickett Lutheran church at 2 o'clock Rev. Mr. Pilger of Ripon will be
the officiating clergyman
