Mrs. Henrietta Staege passed away at her home at Butte des Morts, last
Thursday, July 3, of general debility at the age of 86.  Henrietta Bohm was
born the 2nd of February, 1827, near Berlin, Germany, where the early part
of her life was spent.  She was united in marriage to Wm. Staege and later
in the year 1860 they came to this country settling in Dundee, Ill., where
the first eighteen years of their wedded life was spent.  In 1878 they
moved to the village of Butte des Morts where they lived ever since.  Mrs.
Staege was a fond and loving woman and will be missed by her many friends
and and as well as her children, all of which survive her.  They are
Charles and Berta Staege, Mrs. Charles Nickels, of the town of Oshkosh, and
Wm. Staege of Hortonville; seven grand children and three great-grand
children.  The funeral was held Sunday afternoon and interment took place
in the village cemetery.
