Died of Dropsy

Paulina Steinke expires after an illness of Two Months

Miss Paulina Steinke died yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the
residence of her mother, Mrs. Augusta Steinke, 196 Michigan street.  The
deceased was taken ill on New Year's day, and at the time the physicians
could not agree as to what the disease was.  The disease gradually
developed into pneumonia, until about a week ago dropsy of the heart set in
which caused her death.  She was nineteen years of age and was a member of
the Eighth street Lutheran church.  The funeral will be held Friday at 2
p.m. from the Eighth street Lutheran church and the remains will be
interred in the Lutheran cemetery on the south side.
