Obituary: Winnebago County, Wisconsin: Zelia VOSBURG ************************************************************************ Submitted by Kathy Grace, April 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Daily Northwestern January 3, 1928 p. 4 Mrs. Vosburg Expires Resident of Winnebago County More Than Fifty Years Dies at the Home of Daughter Mrs. Zelia Vosburg, widow of Frank Vosburg, died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James McCallan, in the town of Algoma. Mrs. Vosburg had been in poor health for several months. She was 77 years old. She was born in Sheboygan county, June 29, 1850. The deceased was united in marriage to Frank Vosburg in 1875 and since that time had lived practically all her life in the town of Vinland until she went to live with her daughter in the town of Algoma. The survivors are one daughter, Mrs. James McCallan, of the town of Algoma; and one son, Chester Vosburg, who resides at the homestead in the town of Vinland. Mrs. Vosburg is also survived by two brothers, M.E. Bean, of Fond du Lac and W.H. Bean of Appleton; and two sisters, Miss May Bean, of Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Albert Fairchild, of Minneapolis, Minn., and eleven grandchildren. The funeral was held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home of the daughter, Rev. U.E. Gibson of Neenah, was the officiating clergyman. The remains were placed in the receiving vault in Riverside cemetery until spring when burial will be in Brooks cemetery.
