Weston Suddenly Expires in His Store on Main Street C.S. Weston, the well known commission merchant, doing business on lower Main street, dropped dead in his store this afternoon. Mr. Weston came down to his store as usual this afternoon, apparently feeling all right, although he had only recently recovered from an attack of pleurisy. At the time of his death, which was a few minutes after three o'clock, he was engaged in talking with Mr. Vosburg of Vinland, when suddenly he fell against his son, who was standing near by. Justus Hicks, who was in the store at the time, rushed to Mr. Weston's side. An examination of the pulse revealed the fact that the commission merchant had expired. The remains were taken to the undertaking establishment of William Spikes. Mr. Weston was an old resident of this city, where he had been engaged in various occupations. Of late years he had been a commission merchant. He leaves three sons, one of whom is in California. Mr. Weston was about sixty-seven years of age.
