He was born in the Town of Black Wolf on February 3, 1888, son of John and Augusta Wruck. A single man, he farmed in the Town of Eldorado for 64 years, and was a member of First English Lutheran Church. Surviving are one brother, Albert Wruck, Van Dyne; and five sisters, Mis Clara Wruck, Town of Eldorado, Mrs. Martha Rates, Oshkosh, Mrs. Fred Raddatz, Town of Black Wolf, Mrs. Lawrence Roberts, Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Edward Rabe, Rosendale. Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Donald L. Gauerke officiating. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Black Wolf. Friends may call at Marquardt Funeral Home Sunday from 4-9 p.m. A memorial has been established to which friends may contribute.
