M.L. Eversz and Miss Van Kirk Married Yesterday A very pleasant wedding was celebrated yesterday at the home of Horace Van Kirk at Rush Lake. The parties were the Rev. M.L. Eversz and Miss Joephine [sic] E. Van Kirk. Miss Maud Van Kirk, a sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid and the Rev. A.J. Buxton, of Dartford, was the best man. The Rev. W. Millar, of Fort Howard, performed the ceremony, assisted by the Rev. F. Millar, of Waukau. The ceremony was beautiful and was witnessed by about fifty guests including a number from Milwaukee, Oshkosh, Ripon and Berlin. The house was handsomely decorated and a reception followed the ceremony. Both the parties are well known in Oshkosh. Mr. Eversz lived in this city at one time, and was employed in the Paine mill. He was a lieutenant of Company B. He was induced to study for the ministry by the Rev. C.B. Wilcox and he is now in charge of a church at Green Lake. The bride is one of several sisters who are well known through this section as musicians. The young couple will make a wedding trip which will include Oshkosh among other places.
