Finney and Miss Jessie Decker man and wife were spoken. The decorations throughout the house were very beautiful and delicate, white being the prevailing color. The bay window, where the couple stood while the ceremony was being performed, was made very attractive by white drapes, smilax and cut flowers, mostly roses and carnations. The dining room was decorated with ox-eyes daisies and other flowers. The various chandeliers about the house were trimmed with smilax. At precisely eight o'clock the bridal couple, unattended, issued from an upper room and proceeded to the bay window, where Rev. John W. Greenwood untied them in the holy bonds of matrimony, the Episcopal ring service being carried out. Hearty congratulations followed, the guests wishing Mr. and Mrs. Finney much happiness and God-speed on their journey through life. After a wedding luncheon a wedding reception was held. The bride was attired in a light green dress with velvet trimmings. The wedding was attended only by relatives and a few of the most intimate friends of the contracting parties. The presents were numerous and many of them being very costly. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William Decker, and her many amiable qualities have won for her the highest esteem of all who have come in contact with her. Mr. Finney is an able young man, popular among a circle of friends and acquaintances, and the second son of E.E. Finney, the mail carrier. Mr. Finney now holds a responsible position with the Golden Eagle Clothing company, where is especially liked for his geniality. Among those who attended the wedding from abroad were: John Ritter and wife of Chicago; John Bangs of Milwaukee; E.E. Finney, Jr. and Miss Elsie Upham of Marshfield; Mrs. Samuel Rhodes and daughter Sarah, of Denver, Col.; and Miss Jeanie Wright of Chicago.
