Holden and Clara H. Nicolai, two well known and popular young people of this city, were married at St. Mary's church at six o'clock this morning, the Rev. Father Schoelter officiating. Only the relatives accompanied the bridal party, who, after the ceremony, took the early morning train for Chicago and the east. The bride in this happy event is the daughter of Peter Nicolai, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Oshkosh, and is a lady whose pleasant manners and disposition have made her popular with a large circle of friends. The groom has for years been identified with the dry goods business in a most prominent way, ably assisting his brother in the management of the extensive business of J. E. Holden & company, and no young business man in the city enjoys a larger patronage or brighter prospects. The best wishes of the business and social interests of Oshkosh follow the happy couple.
