Horn are Made Husband and Wife Mr. and Mrs. Henry P. Schmitt threw open their home on Otter street last evening for the marriage of their only daughter, Miss Lizzie Schmitt and Charles G. Horn. The ceremony was performed in the bay window of the parlor by Rev. Mr. Koepplin, of the Eighth street Lutheran church. The couple were attended by Miss Lydia Horn and George Gunz. The bride was attired in a costume of fawn colored drap d' Alma trimmed with escurial lace and ornamented with natural flowers. The bridesmaid wore cream albatross adorned with cream roses. The company was small and included only about thirty of the young friends of the couple in addition to the members of the two families. The wedding supper was elaborate and it was followed by an evening of thorough enjoyment. The young people kept up the festivities until a late hour. Among the guests from abroad were Mr. and Mrs. Toepfer, of Milwaukee; Miss Marie Guhl, of Milwaukee and Arthur Ackermann of New London. The presents included a number of very handsome pieces. Both of the contracting parties are well known in German society circles of this city. The bride is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Henry P. Schmitt and the groom is the son of August Horn, of the Horn & Schwalm brewery. He is in the drug business on Oregon street. Mr. and Mrs. Horn will go into housekeeping at once at 66 Oregon street where a very pleasant home has been furnished for them.
