From nine until eleven o'clock Fathers Reindl, O'Brien and Van Treuck, were busily engaged in the rather pleasant occupation of launching young souls upon the voyage of matrimony, and between the hours named the auditorium was consequently filled with invited friends and members of St. Vincent's congregation who had gathered to behold the impressive ceremonies. It was just a few minutes after nine o'clock when the first couple walked up the steps which lead to the altar. They were Paul Koch and Miss Madeline Reiffer. They were attended by Messrs. Peter Reiffer and James Reis and the Misses Mary and Emma Koch. The groom is employed as night yard master at the Chicago & Northwestern yards on the south side. He is a son of Frank Koch. The bride is a daughter of Henry Reiffer, a farmer residing in Nekimi.
