E.H. Smith, of the First Congregational church, the ceremony taking place at the residence of G.A. Schaar, 136 Merritt street. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the party sat down to an elegant wedding dinner, and at 12:45 Mr. and Mrs. Melin took the train for Chicago where they are to reside. The bride is a native of Oshkosh, prepossessing in appearance, and is admired by a large circle of friends for her many admirable qualities. She is the sister of Herman Eilers, formerly teller in the Union National bank of this city, but now engaged in the bank business in Nebraska. The groom is a merchant and is reputed to be in prosperous circumstances.
