W.J. Luby officiating where the solemn vows of marriage were plighted "until death do we part." The happy couple were attended by Miss Everesta Broderick, sister of the bride, and Mr. John Bingen of Poygan. the bride spent her girlhood days in Winneconne, graduating from the High school and has spent some years teaching, the Heffron school in the Poygan district being in her charge during the past school year; all during this time the bride won many fast and true friends who wish her happiness and who extend congratulations. The groom is a popular railroad man with hosts of friends who extend the glad hand of congratulations to him. After a wedding trip the young couple will take up their residence at Oshkosh, from which place Mr. Oakes has a steady run.
