Neenah, Wis., Oct. 23- The cosy residence of Mr. W.H. McIntosh presented an artistic and brilliantly illuminated appearance last evening on the occasion of the marriage of his daughter Viola to Mr. Homer Smith. The dwelling consisted of an immense floral retreat interspersed with beautiful ferns daintily arranged by tasty fingers. Remote from the happy gathering a costly and varied collection of useful as well as very ornamental presents were arranged including an elegant silver set, the gift of Congressman Clark, in whose employ the groom is engaged. At exactly eight o'clock the bridal couple appeared. The bride was charminly attired in white albatros with satin trimmings, the groom in the customary black. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J.E. Chapin and amid from fifty to sixty of the most intimate friends and relatives of the contracting parties. Guests were present from Appleton and other adjacent cities. Mr. Homer Smith is the son of Wright Smith an old and respected citizen of this place. He is young man of marked ability and strict integrity. The bride is too well known to require mention, having lived here from early childhood where she has become a social favorite.
