The residence had been prettily decorated for the occasion and the floral parasol under which the bride and groom stood during the ceremony was an ornament of much beauty. The contracting parties entered the main parlor to the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, played upon the piano by Miss Matie Campbell, cousin of the bride. The latter was charmingly attired in a costume of India silk, elaborately trimmed with lace. The garment was entrainne. Miss Bell carried a cluster of lilies of the valley and she appeared a really beautiful bride. The ceremony, which included the use of the ring, was performed by the Rev. Lowell C. Smith of the First Presbyterian church. It was followed by the usual congratulations and later refreshments were served under the supervision of Miss Jannush. The array of presents in an upper room was exceptionally large and embraced many beautiful and costly gifts, indicative of the high esteem in which the bride and groom are held. Mr. Stilson is the youngest son of Mrs. Eli Stilson. He is a gentleman of means, being interested in stock raising and general farming in Texas as well as Wisconsin. Added to this important qualification for matrimony he is an extremely affable young man and popular among a large circle of friends. The bride is the youngest daughter of A.E. Bell, the architect and builder. She is equally as well liked as her husband. After a brief wedding tour Mr. and Mrs. Stilson will take up their residence at the corner of Merritt and Oak streets.
