The bride was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard R. Crowe, here father, for a number of years, was editor of the Local. Mrs. Towns is a charming and highly cultured young lady having a large circle of friends. She was a graduate of the Lawrence University at Appleton in 1908, and has successfully taught in two of the college in the east. Shortly before her marriage she was engaged as Secretary of the Young Women's Christian Association at Richmond. The groom is a prominent business man of Baltimore, Md., where they will make their home after Aug. 15, having made an extended tour of the east. The Local joins in with her many friends and acquaintances in extending to the young couple best wishes for a long and happy union.
