Rev. O.T. Hoyer solemnizing the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schmeling, of the town of Winneconne, about two miles east of the village. She was gowned in white Marquisette over white satin, wearing a veil and carrying yellow bridal roses. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Martha, and Mable Hoeft, who were attired in white and carried white carnations. Miss Schmeling is one of the most popular young ladies of the village and has won a wide circle of friends. The groom is one of the best known young men of this vicinity and is highly esteemed by his many friends. He was attended by his brother, Edwin, and Herman Schmeling, brother of the bride. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, which a large number enjoyed. The young couple will make their home on a farm near Winchester.
