Services will be at 7pm Thursday at Roseberry's Funeral Home, Friendship. The Rev Glenn DUNN will officiate. Burial will be in Wood National Cemetery, Milwaukee. KERSEY was born Jul 7, 1914, in Alachula Co, FL, to Ulysses and Ella KERSEY. He married Ruth Eleanor PEACOCK May 4, 1946. He moved to MonroeCenter area in 1975 from Milwaukee, where he was a heavy-equipment operator for the gravel terminal. He was a veteran of World War II, serving six years in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his wife; one son, Charles, of Whiterford; three daughters, Kathy BROPHEY, Wind Lake, and Karen SKURZEWSKI and Elizabeth Ann WIDUK, both of Milwaukee; two sisters Gertrude OVERLY, Bradington, FL, and Dallas MORGAN, Lakeland, FL; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
