Obituary: Frank Rice, d 1991, Wood Co, WI Posted by Barbara Johnson on Wed, 14 Jul 1999 Surname: JARSTAD, LEUKER, RICE Obituary of Frank RICE Taken from: The Daily Tribune, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Thursday Jan 17, 1991 Frank RICE, 83, of 275 Winchester Road, Adams Co, town of Rome, died Tuesday, Jan 15, 1991, at Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids, where he had been a patient since Jan 12. Services will be at 11am Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Plainfield. The Rev Michael BETLEY will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery at a later date. Mr RICE was born Dec. 3, 1907, in the town of Krakow, Shawano Co, to Joseph and Mary RICE. He married Mabel JARSTAD Oct 17, 1933, in Krakow. He was employed as a maintenance engineer at Harris Metal Co, Racine, for 20 years, retiring in 1974. After moving to the town of Rome, he was a supervisor for the Camelot Parks Association for 16 years, retiring last fall. Mr RICE was a member of Kewaunee Civil Service, Racine Wisconsin Holy Name Society and town of Rome Senior Citizens. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jo Ann LEUKER and Karen RICE, both of Racine; three sons, Joseph, of Milwaukee, and Wayne and Paul, both of Racine; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his parents, one son, one grandson, four brothers and four sisters. Friends may call at St Paul's Catholic Church from 5-8pm Friday and until 11am Saturday.
