For in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred Dollars paid in hand the receipt is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold aliened, enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell, alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said Uriah WEAVER, his heirs or assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Barbour on the waters of Pleasant Creek Adjoining lands of Joshua MODISEETS and William Corders and Joshua COLE. Containing one hundred and Fifty acres, be the same more or less it being the same Tract of land formerly belonged to Henry WEAVER deceased. To have and to hold the above described tract of land with all its appurtenances and the proffits unto the said Uriah WEAVER his heirs or assigns forever, and the said William ROBINAOn, Daniel WEAVER and his wife, John WEAVER snd his wife, George WOODFORD and his wife, SAmuel BARR and his wife, James HATHAWAY and his wife, William REED and his wife, Henry HATHAWAY and his wife, Zachariah ELYSON and his wife, William PROUDFOOT and his wife, Job ROBINSON and his wife and Francis ROBINSON, Nicholas POLING and his wife doth hereby promise and convenant and agree with the said Uriah WEAVER his heirs and assigns that they will forever warrant and defend the said above pentioned tract of land with all its appurtenances from themselves their heirs and all other persons forever, unto the said Uriah WEAVER, his heirs or assigns.
