She was born at Arden on April 23, 1863, a daughter of the late Solomon and Emaline Duckworth Weaver. She was the widow of Jay F. Hathaway. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nettie Bunner of Wickwire Road Grafton, and Mrs. Savannah Reed of Philippi Rt. 3; one deceased daughter, Mrs. Ida Mitchell; eight grandchildren; 16 great grand children; 10 great great grand children. Funeral services were conducted, Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Mary's Chapel Church, with the Rev. Lester McIntosh officiating. Interment was in Mary's Chapel Cemetery. ****Note Arminda married in Barbour County, on 15 Jun 1883 to Joshua F. Hathaway.
