She was born May 30, 1914, at Philippi, a daughter of the late Bulger and Angeline (Mayle) Mayle. Her husband of 51 years, Oscar Mayle, preceded her in death on November 9, 1981. Surviving are four grandchildren, Robert J. Lantz, Webster Community, with whom she made her home, Lena Porter, Robin Mayle and Jannie Mayle, all of Canton, Oh.; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mayle was also preceded in death by three sons, Ronnie Mayle, Hartsel Mayle and Bartsel Mayle; by one daughter, Annie Lantz; by two brothers, Dewey Mayle and Jethroe Mayle and by three great grandchildren. Mrs. Mayle was retired as a nurses aide and attended the Canton Free Will Baptist Church. (Friends may call at the Stemple &Forman Funeral Home in Philippi, from 3:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Friday and at the Pentecostal Church of Ford Run from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 6, when funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. David Maley, pastor of the Webster Wesleyan Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery. Stemple & Forman Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.)
