I do with the advice of the Council hereby certify that George Hite about 25 years old, late a Lieutenant in the 1st Regiment of Light Dragoons appears to have been disabled in such a manner while in the service of the United States as to entitle him to the sum of forty pounds yearly; which allowance is accordingly made him, to commence on the first day of January. Given under my hand at Richmond this 29th day of November 1786. Signed: P.
