Scott Family Cemetery is at the top of the mountain adjacent to the
Slaughter's Creek exit from the WV Turnpike.  The people buried there
were relatives or descendants of Richard Scott (b. 1807 Monroe Co., VA.
married to Rebecca Ann Cooper on July 12, 1838 in Kanawha Co, died 1868
in Boone Co.  The lived on that mountain, which was called Scott's
Mountain.  I have a complete genealogy of that family and will share it
with interested parties.
