Haymond Cemetery
Falls Mill, Braxton County, West Virginia

This cemetery is located on Green Hill above Gregory. From I-79 take the Flatwoods exit, turn left at 
light. Go approx. 6 miles to Falls Mill, turn left onto the Green Hill road. Not sure how far from there, 
pass the Pleasant Hill Church go maybe another mile. Cemetery is on right in slight curve, monuments can 
be seen from road.

Old timber cutting landing is behind cemetery. The cemetery is among grown trees and brush and is not taken 
care of. 3 graves marked by stone. Some of the monuments are broken and some were laying beneath leaves, 
although some are tall making it easy to see from road.

My guess is it is the Haymond Cemetery, which I have named it but I could not find the name listed anywhere.

As far as I can tell there is at least 3 graves marked only by stone.

I visited and transcribed this cemetery in the month of Oct. 2002.

Haymond, Eugenus, b. 15 Jan 1830, d. 19 Mar 1904
Haymond, Margaret Olive, b. 18 Aug. 1880 (aged 11 yr. 5 mon. 13 da) (daughter of E. & M. J. Haymond) 
     (rest little Olive in happiness, rest mingling with angels, we know thou are blest. Fear from the trials 
     that temp us to stray, god in his mercy has called thee away.) (Hawkins)
Haymond, Mary J., b. 29 Aug 1825, d. 6 Mar 1892 (aged 66-ys. 6 m. 7 d.) (Wife of E. Haymond)

Shock, Nellie, d. 10 Jul 1892 (infant daughter of L. J. & M. E.) (Sleep on sweet baby and take thy rest, 
     god called thee home he thought it best)
