Juanita Velda Brooks, 84, of Hampton died at 1:17 p.m., Friday, March 14, 2008 
at her residence. 
Survivors include one daughter, Geneva Workman of West Virginia; two sisters, 
Margie A. Maze of Little Branch (this should be Little Birch), WV; several 
great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Brooks was preceded in 
death by her husband, David R. Brooks; and four sisters. Her parents were 
Isaac Cutlip and Pearl (Lockard) Cutlip. 
Services were held Monday, March 17 at Boyd Funeral Home in Salem with Bro. 
Phillip Sanders officiating. Burial was at Salem Cemetery.
