Eadie who was Assee of James Campbell for One thousand Acres of land on Harmons Creek & Waters of Kings Creek which warrant is assigned by the sd. Johnston unto the said Alexander Eadie I have Surveyed 1000 acres in the County of Yohogania the form manner & model the above plan [plat in upper left hand corner] representeth and is Bounded as followeth Viz Beginning at a W Ok on the side of a ridge corner to James Campbell at A run thence East 341 poles to a W Ok near a Corner of John Quicks at B thence S 42 E 102 po to a W Ok at a run at C thence S 20 W 262 po to a B Ok at D adjoining Richard Boyce thence S 16 E 185 1/2 po to a hicory ash & dead walnut at the head of a run a branch of Harmons run at E thence S 73 W 114 po adjoining John Hays to a small W Ok corner to John Hays at F the. N 86 W 243 po to a stake at G thence North 440 po to the begining Containing 1000 acres Given under my hand this 4 day of March 1784. Examd. Wm. Sinclear D. S. Y. C. To all whom these presents shall come, Greeting: Know ye that by Virtue and in Consideration of an Exchange Preemption Treasury Warrant Number two hundred and fifty four and Issued the Twenty ninth day of June one Thousand one hundred and Eighty two...there is granted by the said Commonwealth unto Alexander Edie Assee. of Benjamin Johnston A Certain Tract or parcel of of [sic] Land Containing one Thousand Acres by survey bearing date the fourth day of May one Thousand seven hundred and Eighty four Lying and being in the County of Yonogania on Hammonds Creek and the Waters of Kings Creek and Bounded as followeth To Wit, Beginning at a white oak on the side of a ridge Corner to James Campbell Junior running thence East three hundred and forty one poles to a white Oak near a corner of John Quicks South forty two degrees East One hundred and two poles to a white oat at a run South Twenty Degrees West two hundred and Sixty two poles to a Black oak adjoining Richard Boice South Sixteen degrees East one hundred and five and a half poles to a Hickory ash and dead Walnut at the head of a run a Branch of Hammonds Run south Seventy three degrees West one hundred and fourteen poles adjoining John Hays to a small white oak Corner to John Hays North Eighty six degrees West two hundred and forty three poles to a Stake thence North four hundred and forty poles to the Beginning With its Appurtenances; To have and to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land With its Appurtenances to the said Alexander Edie and his Heirs for ever.
