Carpenter, E-mail address: , May 1999. ********************************************************************** ********************************************************************** Ashley-Collison Cemetery off Villa Nova Ridge going out of Duck, WV Back in the 1920's when my grandparents rented this farm it was called the Ashley Place. It is now (1996) owned by a Mr. Cantrell. The cemetery is located about a mile from the mail road in a field past the Cantrell house in a grove of cedar trees. If you walk past the Cem. you will be looking down on state Rt. 4 leading from Clay to Gassaway. There are several unmarked graves. A couple of concrete blocks also marking graves that Mr. Cantrell says belong to a family named Carte. William Webster Comer Jan. 6. 1892- Dec. 10, 1982 Velma Young Comer March 23, 1893- March 7, 1984 Richard Comer June 7, 1920-Dec.7, 1975 (Mr. Comer and his wife lived on this farm prior to it being rented to his brother, my grandfather. Richard was the son of William and Velma.) William A. Collison born Dec. 14, 1828 died Jan. 21, 1916 Julia A.
