Driving directions: from Rtes. 33/119 in Normantown, turn south on Gassaway Rd. The road to the cemetary, reached by foot, is directly across the road from the Post Office. The cleared and fenced plot contains ten uncarved slabs set up in such a way that I'm sure they mark graves. Based on their arrangement there may be no more than five unknown burials, but possibly as many as ten. There are a number of double headstones, so this list is only roughly alphabetical. My comments are enclosed in brackets. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ BOBBY DELL FRAME NOV. 11, 1951 JUL. 17, 1997 [double headstone, banner top center containing:] FRAME [left side]DREXELL 1900-1992 [foot, aluminum marker] HUGH DREXELL FRAME 1900-1992 [right side]FLORA 1910- [double headstone, banner top center containing:] HUFF [left side]MAUDE M. 1874-1931 [foot]M.M.H. None of these has any carving. There is also a white, unpolished, rectangular marble column, about three feet tall, carved on three sides: SEYMOUR NORMAN BORN DEC. 12, 1812 DIED JULY 2, 1880 [italics]Thus sink to rest the just whom Christ has blest, Death brings them light and peace and heav- enly rest.
