Stout This deed made this 17th day of July 1859 between Mary Stout the widow of Hesikiah [sic] Stout, dec'd, and Perry G. Stout both of the County of Gilmer and State of Virginia. Witnesseth: that in consideration of the sum of five dollars to be in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged the said Mary Stout doth grant unto the said Perry G. Stout all her right --- and interest in a certain tract of land lying in the County and State aforesaid on the Little Kanawha River and known as a piece of land given to the said Perry G. Stout by the last ___ of Hezikiah Stout dec'd. The said Mary Stout agrees to covenant(?) unto the said Perry G. Stout, her ____ the above described property. Witness the following signed and seal. Mary (X) Stout Gilmer county, to wit: I, William Lynch a Justice of the Peace for the County aforesaid do certify that Mary Stout whose name is signed to the willing above, ___ ___ in the 17th day of July, 1859, has acknowledged the same before me in my county aforesaid.
