Jackson who made oath thereto and with F. S. Honaker his security who entered into and acknowledged a bill in the sum of $200.00 and inasmuch as the requires certificate is granted the said James W. Jackson for obtaining letters of Administration in the Estate of Isaac Honaker deceased, in due form of law which said will was duly forever admitted to record in this office before the clerk of Greenbrier County the 2nd day of Sept. 1885. I promise and bind myself heirs to, to pay John Withrow Forty Two Dollars and Seventy Eight Cents, the balance due said Withrow his settlement up to the 1st day of January 1851. with Int. from that date. Witness my hand and seal this 9th day of January 1854. Isaac Honaker. 4/5/1890: Commissioner's Sale of the HONAKER LAND. In pursuance of a decree of the Circuit Court of Greenbrier county, rendered on the 16th day of November, 1889, in the case of Isaac Honaker's administrator vs. Isaac Honaker's heirs et al., I will sell, as Commissioner, at public auction, to the highest bidder, in front of the Hotel of Jas. H. Stratton, in the town of Lewisburg, WV, on Saturday, the 5th day of April, 1890, the farm of the late Isaac Honaker, situated in Irish Corner district, Greenbrier county, adjoining A. J. Morgan, Susanna Honaker and others, containing 112 acres, sold subject to the widow's dower, which has been laid off to her, and contains 18 3/4 acres, on which the dwelling house, garden and orchard are situated. Terms of Sale: Cash in hand will be required sufficient to pay costs of suit and expenses of sale, (over $100,) and for the residue of purchase money a credit of 6, 12 and 18 months will be given, purchaser executing bonds, with good personal security, and vendor's lien retained as ultimate security. All the parties interested in the above named cause, now pending In the Circuit Court of Greenbrier county, will take notice: That pursuant to the requirements of a decree pronounced in said cause, I will, on the 21st day of June, 1889, at my office in Lewisburg, proceed to settle and report to the said Court an account of plaintiff as administrator of Isaac Honaker, deceased, showing what assets can or should have come, into his hands, and what disposition he has made of the same. Also, all debts due from the estate of said Honaker, with their dignities, priorities and amounts. Also the real estate of which said Honaker died seized, with its rental and actual market value. To the Creditors of Isaac Honaker, deceased: In pursuance of a decree of the Circuit Court of the county of Greenbrier made in a cause therein pending, to subject the real estate of the said Isaac Honaker to the payment of his debts, you are required to present your claims against the estate of the said Isaac Honaker for adjudication to Jas. State of West Virginia, Greenbrier county, as: At rules held in the Clerk's office of the Circuit Court of Greenbrier county on the first Monday in the month of October, 1888: J. W. Jackson, Administrator e.i.a. of Isaac Honaker, dec'd, complainant, vs. John B. S. Honaker and others, defendants. In Chancery. The object of this suit is to subject in sale the lands of which Isaac Honaker died seized, in the County of Greenbrier, for the purpose of paying his debts. And it appearing by affidavit filed that the defendant, John M. Armstrong, Isaac H. Armstrong, Henry P. Armstrong, F. C. Armstrong and James M. Armstrong, are non-residents of this State, it is ordered that they do appear within one month after the date of the first publication of his order and do what is necessary to protect their interests in this suit. Argabrite, one of the publishers of the "Greenbrier Independent," a newspaper published in the town of Lewisburg, State and County aforesaid, do hereby certify that the annexed Notice was published four weeks successively in said paper, that a copy of the same was duly posted at the front door of the Court-house of said County, and that the first publication of said Notice was on the 4th day of October, 1888. Toothman, N. W. Honaker, and Charles A. Toothman, her husband, Eliza Jane Honaker (Idiot), W. M. G. Armstrong, A. H. Armstrong, Isaac H. Armstrong, John M. Armstrong, James M. Armstrong, Henry P. Armstrong, F. C. Armstrong, the last 7 children and heirs at law of Margaret Armstrong died. N. W. Honaker, Newton D. Honaker, Lillian A. Honaker, Henry W. Honaker, Joseph F. Honaker, Mary M. Honaker an infant, Minerva S. Honaker ,an infant, James D. Honaker, infant, the last 7 children and heirs at law of James M. Honaker died. Catherine Honaker, the widow of Isaac Honaker died. H. B. Toothman, Thomas C. Toothman, James R. Caldwell and James Knight the last two with others whose names are unknown creditors died. If they be found within your baliff? will appear before the judge of circuit court for said county at the clerk's office of your said court and rules to the eldest of said court of the first Monday of March next to answer a bill in Chancery exhibited against them in our said court by James W. Jackson, administrator of Isaac Honaker died. This was Jan. 31, 1889 and in the 26th year of the statue-File 31 Chancery and Law Index from beginning of state to July 31, 1932.
